Alkreflex® One
Alkreflex® One is a composite reflection membrane; two layers of pure aluminium on either side of a core of air cushion membrane. Combined with a 20 mm air cavity on both sides, Alkreflex® One provides optimum insulation value by reflecting radiant heat. The low thickness and handy size of the roll make the product particularly suitable for renovation purposes. Because Alkreflex® One is moisture insensitive, it is often used as a convenient solution for post-insulating unwanted cold surfaces.

Applications
Alkreflex® One is used as a vapour barrier reflection membrane in (cavity) walls, floors, on the warm side (mostly the inside) of roofs, industrial buildings such as warehouses, units, containers and caravan construction. Alkreflex® One is also ideally suited for insulating crawl spaces, garage doors or as a reflection membrane behind a radiator.|Alkreflex® One is used as a vapour barrier reflection membrane in (cavity) walls, floors, on the warm side (mostly the inside) of roofs, industrial buildings such as warehouses, units, containers and caravan construction. Alkreflex® One is also ideally suited for insulating crawl spaces, garage doors or as a reflection membrane behind a radiator.
Installation
Alkreflex® One should be applied in combination with two layers of air (cavity) of at least 20 mm for optimum insulation in order to use the maximum insulating effect. As roof insulation, we recommend Alkreflex® One only on the inside of the roof. In this way, it has a double function: insulating and as a vapour barrier. Finish seams and overlaps with VASTR® Aluminium tape basic. As floor insulation, Alkreflex® One is attached to the underside against the wooden floor joists with light ventilation parallel to the joist. For application under concrete-like floors, Alkreflex® One must be applied with a minimum 20 mm layer of air between the insulation and the floor. For processing as radiator membrane, cut Alkreflex® One to size and fix behind the radiator with double-sided tape or with magnets.|Alkreflex® One should be applied in combination with two layers of air (cavity) of at least 20 mm for optimum insulation in order to use the maximum insulating effect.
